Setting the standards for excellence in forensic dentistry

ABFDAbout ABFD

Forensic dentistry involves the application of forensic techniques and specialized knowledge of odontology. The most common role of the forensic dentist is the identifier of deceased individuals. Forensic dentists also play a key role in linking perpetrators to their victims through bite mark analysis. Other uses in law for dentists include medico-legal assessment of trauma to oral tissues and testimony about dental malpractice.
